Rock On-Fabric Rock Art

Paper Casting

A four-part paper and pencil workshop using theory, design and color. This workshop will include the principles and theory of rep weave, design for rep weavers, applying your own colorways to make the design unique and how to highlight and add emphasis to blocks in a number of ways to give the design your own unique touch. Funky Faux Patchwork Purses

Design and Weave A Rep Weave Project

The Basic Rider Course (BRC) is the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s introductory motorcycle riding course. It is paced for beginners and satisfies the AZ State requirements to obtain a motorcycle endorsement should the student successfully complete the course.

The BRC gives the student an opportunity to learn proper methods at a measured pace in non-threatening, controlled conditions, guided by experienced Rider Coaches who have been trained and certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to teach this curriculum.

This course in intended for students who have: (1) never been on a motorcycle; (2) some experience, but no training; (3) been long time (or long since) riders who want to refresh their basic riding skills.

The class requires approximately 5 hours of classroom and 11 hours of on-range riding time. Class schedule end times may vary depending on student progress.

The motocycle, gloves and helmet will be provided to the student to use during the course.

Upon successful completion of the BRC the student receives (1) a MVD Certificate of Completion that allows them to obtain a motorcycle endorsement on their drivers license and (2) a Motorcycle Safety Foundation course completion card which may entitle them to an insurance discount.

Surviving Nature

Flat Weave Tapestry Rug Techniques

This workshop is an introduction to tapestry techniques on the floor loom to produce weft-face rugs. Using interlock, turn lock, and slits, each student will weave arrangements of squares, crosses, stars, diamonds, vertical and horizontal lines.
